Drop In Lunch Club

The Lunch Club meets on Tuesdays from 12.30pm to 2pm. We enjoy a lunch of fresh home-made soup followed by dessert or cheese and biscuits. Hot puddings and custard are very popular as is home-made rice pudding, although we do have some lighter desserts in the warmer weather. We quite often celebrate birthdays with cake and often a chocolate to accompany tea or coffee. But perhaps most of all we enjoy a time of fellowship together. The cost of lunch is £2.50. We usually meet in “term time” as some of our volunteers have school-aged children and grandchildren. But we usually enjoy pre holiday “specials” as well as Christmas lunch. Everyone is welcome and we have members of all ages – our youngest is 18 months old and loves his soup and pudding!

Some of our members attend the fortnightly knit and natter group before lunch whilst others stay for our Busy Bees craft.
